Zoeva | Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol.2

I felt like I needed some new make up brushes. I probably didn't, but it happened anyway! Whenever I am doing my make up in the morning, I always feel like I need more blending brushes for my eyes and I knew that Zoeva had a gorgeous set in the Rose Golden collection, but rather than the chocolate ones, I went for the Powder nude set and they are stunning! Again, they come with a matching make up bag and they are definitely worth the money at only £55 for 12 brushes. I thought that was pretty decent. On each brush, at the bottom they have 'Rose Golden' inscribed, which I think is a really pretty touch.
In the set, these are the brushes:
  • 232 - Luxe Classic Shader
  • 142 - Concealer Buffer
  • 322 - Brow Line
  • 221 - Luxe Soft Crease
  • 230 - Luxe Pencil
  • 228 - Luxe Crease
  • 238 - Luxe Precise Shader
  • 310 - Spot Liner
  • 227 - Luxe Soft Definer
  • 235 - Contour Shader
  • 231 - Luxe Petit Crease
  • 325 - Luxe Brow Light
They look beautiful on my dressing table and make it a little more girly and pretty and I just love them and I definitely gravitate towards Zoeva brushes over anything else.

Lush | Easter Collection

It is nearly Easter, so I thought I would check out the Lush Easter Collection. I have never bought any bath bombs from Lush before, but this collection smells incredible and I have heard amazing things about their bath products.
Firstly, I picked up the Knot-Wrap and I have used this as a hair band and I love it. It is so adorable and I love to brighten up my outfit with this, especially seeing as in the UK it is not getting any warmer, but is staying dull!!You can also use this to wrap up any Easter gifts and it will be really cute.

So I picked up the Funny Bunny, which was 'full to the brim' with exciting and delicious smelling bath bombs. It comes wit 4 bath bombs
  • Hoppity Poppity - The white rabbit ... 'Drop this fantastically fizzy little bunny in the bath for a fresh, herbal bathing experience. popping candy adds a little bounce.'
  • Bunch of Carrots - 'Dig up the dirt on refreshing tropical bathing with this adorable trio of bubbly carrots.'
  • Fluffy Egg - The pink egg ... 'Pretty in Pink, this bomb smells like candyfloss. Who needs chocolate eggs.'
  • Dragon's Egg - 'Popping candy and swirling sparkles makes this a feast for the eyes as well as the skin.'
This bunny has actually sold out, however you can purchase all of the bath bombs included, separately. I cannot wait to use these an they smell incredible!!

Have you bought anything from the Lush Easter Collection?! What do you think?

Superdrug Haul | Make Up

I made a purchase online with Superdrug, mainly because in my local Superdrug, they don't stock the Make-Up Revolution range. I originally went on the site to pick up their lipsticks, but knowing me, I picked up way more than I needed to.

I don't own any crazy lipsticks, so I thought it was about time I got some. Some of these could be quite wearable, but others, not so much!! Also, I originally thought that the '100% Vamp' shade was grey, but it turned out to be a deep purple... These lipsticks are only £1, so I will definitely be picking up more of them when they come back in stock.

From Left to Right: 100% Vamp, Atomic Serpent, Depraved, Enchant, Immoral, Felony

From the Make Up revolution range I also picked up one of their eyeshadow palettes and one of their blush palettes...I have had my eye on these for ages, but they have never been in stock! The eyeshadow palette I got was the ' Ultra Professional Eyeshadow Flawless Palette', which contains 32 eyeshadows. It is a mostly neutral palette with some blues, greens and purple shades and for £8, it was worth picking up. These shadows are super pigmented as well. The blush palette I got was in 'Hot Spice', and it has 8 shades, one of which is a highlight. 4 of the shades are matte, 2 are shimmery and 2 are marble. They are all quite neutral pinks and peaches and will be great for the Spring and Summer seasons. Plus they are really pigmented and for only £6, it's a bargain.
Sleek is one of my favourite brands for eyeshadows as they blend super easily, they are really pigmented and they are affordable. The one I originally wanted wasn't in stock and it was a really bright palette, so instead I picked up the limited edition palette in 'Rio Rio' and it is so pretty. I just screams summer. There is a shade in their called 'Copacabana' which looks a little bit like 'Peach Smoothie' from Makeup Geek. I am really glad I got this palette and I would definitely recommend it if you can still get hold of it.
Maybelline had an offer of buy one get 2nd half price, so I picked up their gel eyeliner which I have wanted for ageeeesss and I am so excited to try it. I didn't really need anything else, so I picked up my favourite drugstore mascara, 'The Falsies' in 'Black Drama'.
Finally I picked up an eye brush from the new range, exclusive to Superdrug, 'Lottie London'. It has brushes which are all coloured in pastel shades and they look really cute and they are really affordable. I got the blending brush, which I believe was only £4.99 and it is the perfect brush for applying shadow to the crease.
I am so excited to try out these products and I may do a tutorial using all these fun colours later on!!

What has been your most recent purchase at the drugstore?!

Haul | The Body Shop

So there was a sale on at 'The Body Shop'...How could I resist?! I actually made 2 purchases online. The first one, there was a 30% off sale and then the next day it upped to 40% off, so I thought why not and it didn't cost me a fortune either.

The Pink Grapefruit collection is one of my absolute favourites so I picked up another one of the body butters as I have pretty much used mine all up? I then saw that they did a hand cream in the same scent, so I bought that as well.
I then picked up another Tea Tree face wash as I haven't had one In ages and I missed it. This is my favourite face wash off all time as it makes my face feel clean and I cannot recommend it enough.
From the Vitamin E range I bought the face mist, which I have heard is great for setting your make up or just to refresh your face in the summer or on  no make up days. It is great for all skin types. Also, I bought the eye cream, which is supposed to help reduce fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. I am hopeful that this will actually make a difference.
I didn't realise they had an Aloe range, so I picked up the soothing gel, which will be great for when I get allergic reactions. It is a great range for sensitive skin as it really is a calming and soothing range.
I have always wanted to pick up something from the Seaweed range, so I did a questionnaire to find out which products would be best suited to my skin and it recommended the seaweed clarifying toner. I have combination skin and this range is targeted towards combination/oily skin types. It is supposed to remove impurities and the one I use from Lush now is doing a great job, so hopefully this one will do the same.
I have always been intrigued by the Camomile cleansing butter, so I bought it. I love that it is in a tin, but I haven't opened it yet because I am still trying to get through my current cleanser. But I am looking forward to using this.
I finally bought the famous Honey Bronzer in the shade '2 Fair Matte'. I don't know why I never picked this up sooner as it looks like the perfect bronzer for a light bronzing on the skin. It will also be great for the summer. It is a matte formula, so there is no shine or sparkle in it, which is better for me. It also comes with a suitable sized mirror, so you can bronze on-the-go.
I also bought 2 muslin cloths and a facial brush. This brush isn't too harsh and is actually quite soft. Hopefully it doesn't hurt my face.
I never normally buy this much from The Body Shop, but like I said, it was really inexpensive and I would probably never buy anything full price, unless I really liked the product.

What is your favourite product from The Body Shop and what are you really intrigued to try out?!

Review | Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask

This face mask is incredible. It is super calming and refreshing and all types of wonderful. I originally got this as a birthday present from my sister Zoe. I have repurchased it myself as I loved it so much.

Inside this magical pot there is a mixture of:
  • Blueberries
  • Calamine powder
  • Almond oil
  • Irish moss gel
  • Chamomile blue oil
Full list of ingredients can be found here.

This mask needs to be kept in the fridge and when you come to put it on your face it will feel sooo refreshing. I believe that this type of mask last for about 2-3 weeks before it's unusable, so don't be scared to apply a generous amount.

It smells incredible, like I wish they invented smellivision already, because everyone needs to appreciate this mask. I think it's the blue chamomile that makes it smell amazing. To get the best result from this mask, leave it in the fridge and then leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes whilst you relax.
Catastrophe Cosmetic retails for £6.50, which isn't bad, considering it is made with all natural ingredients. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is new to Lush or just wants a fab face mask... Basically to everyone!!

Have you tried Catastrophe Cosmetic? What do you think?

Review | Barry M 'Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit'

I have seen so many people rave about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, but at the moment I can't find a reason to spend £39 on it. Which is when Barry M saved the beauty world and came up with a dupe and instead of 6 colours, it has the 3 best shades for everyday use.
At just £6.49 the Barry M Contour Kit was a must buy, so how could I resist?!

It comes in a cardboard case with a magnetic shutter. On the inside lid it has instructions on where to put each colour. This is great for anyone who is new to contouring.
The first shade is a yellow colour and it is meant for highlighting. I use it to set my concealer to brighten up my under-eye area.
The second shade is a warm toned brown, which is great for bronzing up the face. I haven't used this shade yet, but from the swatches I can tell that it is something I am going to love.
The third and final shade is a cool toned brown, which is great for contouring and creating a shadow for your cheekbones. I use this to contour my nose as well, as I have found that warm toned bronzers just make my nose look orange and bigger and it's not very flattering.
All of the shades have a buttery texture and leave a flawless finish. They don't look chalky or cakey at all.
I adore this contour kit and it is definitely something I would recommend to everyone.

MAC Viva Glam | Miley Cyrus

I recently bought the MAC Viva Glam, Miley Cyrus lipstick. I loved it since I saw it advertised, so I knew I had to buy it. When it arrived, the colour did not disappoint. It is such a vibrant pink, but is sheer enough to make it not so 'in your face'. It is an amplified finish, which does mean that it is going to be brighter than your normal day-to-day colour. I personally love it, as it feels quite moisturising. It will be perfect for the summer, especially with a neutral eye.
It is not a matte shade, which is another reason I love it. I think that it needs that glossiness to it, to make it stand out.
I love that packaging as the pink metal ties in with the lipstick and I can easily tell what shade it is by looking at it amongst my other MAC lipsticks. It also has her signature on it, which I think is cute, but I know that all the Viva Glams have a signature on them.
There is a gloss in this collection, but I did not purchase that.
Part of the money from purchasing this lipstick goes towards helping men, women and children everywhere suffering with HIV/AIDS, which I think is a great idea and it raises awareness for this disease.
I would definitely check out the Viva Glam lipsticks as I think they are fab!

Make-Up Books

I have recently been looking at colleges for make-up and I wanted to feel inspired. I browsed the internet and YouTube to try and find the best make-up books out there. I found three that really stood out to me and would be the most use to me. They are all very different and I love them. They did take over a week to get to me, but they finally arrived and they were worth the wait.

'Make-Up, The Ultimate Guide', Rae Morris

This book is great for learning how to experiment with looks. There are step-by-step tutorials on how to achieve a certain make up look, which I think is pretty awesome. It is definitely something I would recommend to anyone who is beginning with make-up or for anyone who wants extra tips with techniques, like me. There is even a guide on which eyeshadow colours to use for which eye colour, which is great, especially if you want to make the eyes the main feature.
It covers skin preparation, eye shape, make-up looks for over 40's, tools you will need ...it literally has everything and you can view it on amazon.
I think this is an awesome book.

'Making Faces', Kevyn Aucoin

This was the only book that I couldn't find on amazon, but it is on The Book Depository.  Again, there are step-by-step tutorials on how to achieve certain looks. It covers all sorts of make-up looks from the iconic Marilyn Monroe look, to a model look and it is very diverse. I think that this is definitely a book for beginners or for anyone who wants extra tips. I cannot wait to recreate some of these looks as they are really inspiring.

'Make-Up Is Art', The Academy of Freelance Make-Up

This is the only hardback book out of the three and it is definitely a more extravagant book. It has incredible, modern photography and so many exciting make-up looks. I definitely think this is a book for a more advanced make-up artist, however just really wanted it, to inspire me. There is a mixture of wearable looks and more editorial looks in this book, which is great, especially if you're like me and want to get started with something simple. This book is on amazon so you can check it out if you wanted to.

MAC Cinderella

I first saw the MAC Cinderella collection in the middle of February and I knew I wanted to get my hands on it. It is a limited edition collection and it launched Friday 6th March in the UK. I believe it sold out online in the first half hour of it's release, which was insane. I was on my way home from taking my sister to school, when I got stuck in traffic and BOOM! It launched...I was super fortunate to purchase these items and they were the three that I knew I wanted and I wasn't really bothered about the other items.
The packaging is super adorable and it just looks like a makeup collection that Cinderella, herself, would own. I love anything Disney, so I was bound to love this collection. I don't think that you would need to own every single item in this collection, unless you really wanted to.

From left to right, we have: 'Royal Ball' Lipstick, 'Glass Slipper' Lip glass, 'Mystery Princess' Beauty Powder...

The first item I bought was the lipstick in 'Royal Ball', which was the pink toned lipstick out of the two. It is  Lustre finish and it is actually gorgeous. It is a prefect colour for Spring and it has a touch of glitteryness (that's not even a word, but I'm going to make it a word) to it. There is not much more to say, than it is a beautiful shade.
Next up we have the lip glass in 'Glass Slipper'. I think that this was the more pink tone lip glass and the other one was a much cooler tone. This again is a stunning shade. It doesn't show up too well on camera, but it has small pink sparkle in it and it goes well with the lipstick.
Finally, we have the beauty powder in 'Mystery Princess'. Again, it doesn't really show up on camera, but it is a very subtle highlighter, with a touch of pink shimmer and is perfect for the Spring and Summer.
The MAC Cinderella collection has truly lived up to my expectations and I couldn't be happier with what I purchased. I think that the shades and the packaging and the textures of it all is perfect and if you can get your hands on any of it this Friday, then I would try. It truly is make up fit for a Princess and now we can all feel like one with this collection.

I believe that it launches in stores this Friday, 13th March and if you haven't seen the collection yet, then you can view it on the MAC Website.

Colour of Spring | Orange Lips

I love all the seasons, but there is something about Spring that seems innocent and cute and the time to experiment with colourful lips. I don't actually know when it is officially Spring, but the sun has been shining, it's getting warmer and flowers are blooming and it's nearly Easter!!!

Orange has to be my favourite colour for the lips around this time of year. It's fresh and pretty and it comes in so many different shades. I have a wide variety of shade and texture and finish of orange. 6 of these shades can be found at Boots or Superdrug and one of them is a higher end lipstick!

From left to right, we have:

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids: 'Shocking Coral', £6.99
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick: 'In Love with Ginger', £6.49
Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter: 'Juicy Papaya', £7.99
MAC Lipstick: 'Sweet and Sour', £15.50
Tanya Burr: 'I Found Nemo' Lip Gloss, £6.99
Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm: 'Audacious', £7.99
Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon: 'Orange Punch', £7.99

I adore all of these shades and they are really getting me in the mood for Spring. What is your favourite shade of lipstick for Spring?

Foundation Review | Rimmel Match Perfection

I picked this foundation up for the colder seasons and have been using it every day for maybe 4 months or more?! I wanted a foundation that wasn't as glowy as the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation, so I chose 'Rimmel Match Perfection'.
It is a 'light perfecting radiance foundation' so it's still going to make you radiant, without an overly sparkly effect.  Now, my skin is actually really dull and I didn't really notice until recently, but this foundation actually makes my skin look proper smooth and it covers my dullness and redness extremely well.
I would say that this foundation was a medium coverage, but it is buildable and it feels light on the skin. This is probably down to the runny consistency.
Again, the packaging is glass, which can sometimes be annoying as you can't get use of all the product. This foundation retails for £6.99, which is one of the cheaper foundations at the drugstore, but it is pretty good for the money.
My foundation lasts all day and never looks patchy. I set it with the Rimmel 'Stay Matte Powder' in 001 Transparent. I use the shade 100 Ivory and it seems to suit my skin rather well. To apply this foundation, I use the 'Expert Face Brush' by Real Techniques, but any brush that suits you will do the job.
I would definitely recommend this foundation to someone who prefers a less dewy effect, but still wants to look radiant without looking matte.

Lush Haul

I decided to treat myself to a few goodies from Lush...I couldn't resist. Going into a Lush store is quite overwhelming and the smells are so strong, plus the nearest store is a 45 minute drive away, so I ordered my stuff online. I always research products before I buy them, because Lush isn't overpriced at all, but I don't really want to waste my money on products I don't like.
Firstly, I ordered the Tea Tree Water, which is a toner. I never use toners in my skincare routine, but now Winter is over, I think now would be a good time to start. have heard so many good reviews about this toner and the 'Breath of Fresh Air' toner. However, the tea tree one has less ingredients and my skin is looking a little troubled lately. Other ingredients in this are grapefruit water and juniperberry water which are antiseptic and antibacterial which will be more beneficial for my skin. I am really excited to see the results of using this product.
I own way too many bath products, but I want to smell good, so it wouldn't hurt to pick up another one right?! So I heard a YouTuber rave about You Snap the Whip which is a body scrub. It doesn't look appealing, I mean it's just a black square, but oh man, it smells incredible. Like I am the worst at describing smells, so I won't try. There's charcoal, macadamia nut oil, cocoa butter and cassis absolute (blackcurrant) in this bar, which all sound super beneficial for my skin. I cant wait to use this!!
I originally wanted to buy the 'Ocean Salt' scrub, but it was out of stock at the time, so instead I chose Angels on Bare Skin, which is a cleanser. I don't quite know how to use this yet, but the name sounded cute and it has great reviews. I think you just add water to it. There's ground almonds, lavender oil, rose absolute and Kaolin (China clay) in this cleanser, so what's not to love?!
Finally I repurchased Catastrophe Cosmetic which is a face mask and literally the best one I have ever  used. I cannot recommend this product enough. With blueberries and chamomile, it is one of the most calming things ever. It has to be kept in the fridge and lasts for around 2 weeks.  I am planning to do a separate blog post for this, so keep an eye out!

Have you tried any of these Lush products? What else do I need in my life?!

Green and Brown Eyeshadow

I have hazel eyes and the other day I was looking through my eye shadow palettes and I have a lot of greens. I have never been brave enough to wear green, just in case it turned out awfully, as if I had returned to my childhood. I was experimenting and found a way to wear it in a way that suited me and I love it. I found that it really made my eye colour stand out.

For this eye look I used:

Avon Primer
Sleek Palette in 'Storm'
'Calm Before the Storm' through the crease to act as a transition shade
'Dust Storm' through the crease and on the inner and outer parts of my eyelid, leaving a space on the centre of the eyelid
Naked 3 Palette
'Strange' in the centre of the lid to intensify the green shade
Sleek Palette in 'Storm'
'Storm Cloud' in the centre of the eyelid
'Snow Storm' on the inner corners of my eye, to make them appear brighter and a touch on the brow bone
Rimmel Glameyes liquid eyeliner in Black
Maybelline 'The Falsies' Mascara
Avon 'Big Daring' Mascara

I used my trusty Zoeva brushes:
221/Luxe Soft Crease
224/Luxe Defined Crease
227/Luxe Soft Definer
237/Detail Shader
           +
Avon eye brush

Review | Lush Lip Scrub

Whenever winter is over, my lips seem to be in a horrendous state. The cold seems to chap them and make them dry and it's just uncomfortable.
I was rummaging through my drawers and rediscovered my Lush lip scrub. I checked the date and saw that it was still useable. I have been using this everyday since the New Year and it has really helped my lips feel softer and less painful.

You could probably make one of these up yourself, but I don't have the patience to combine sugar and some oils, plus Lush know what they are doing.
I believe that it comes in 3 flavours: Popcorn, Bubblegum and Mint. I have Popcorn and I loooove it. I use it every morning and evening before I brush my teeth.. because it's sugar, and it does me wonders!! I just use any lip balm to make sure they are moisturised as well. It retails for £5..50, which is kind of expensive, but it lasts a whole year and does the job. It comes in a glass pot, which is not great for on-the-go, you're better off just taking a lip balm with you. When mine runs out, I will definitely be repurchasing it.

Will you be trying out this lip scrub? And if you have, what did you think? :)

Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have never been one to bake cookies and I don't really know why. However, I found the perfect cookie recipe and these are literally divine. They are gooey and chocolatey and melty...they are great!
So if you would like to know how to bake these awesome cookies, then stick around:

Ingredients:

200g butter
300g caster sugar
1 egg
325g self-raising flour
(or 300g flour, 25g cocoa powder for chocolate cookies)
Dash of milk
400g chocolate (milk, white or dark)

First off, you want to set your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Measure out the butter and caster sugar and whisk them together in a bowl, until creamy. add the egg and again, whisk together. Now add the flour, and if it starts to look a little dry, that's when the dash of milk comes in. It should now start to look like a dough. Now it's time to add the chocolate chunks. Once everything is combined, take handfuls of the dough and place them onto a tray, with grease proof paper. Spread them out, so they don't end up sticking together.
Pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes, but no longer. They won't look done when they are ready though, but take them out anyway and leave them to cool for around 30 minutes.
Enjoy your cookies as a sneaky treat or with a nice cup of tea!

Happy Baking! :)

Banana and Chocolate Muffins

Seeing as I have all this time off work, due to it being National Trust and it's seasonal, I am finding it hard to find things to do. So what better way to spend my days than baking?! I love to find ingredients in my cupboard and just put them together and see what happens. I look for recipes on the internet t inspire me and I just get on with it.
Last week I made some banana and chocolate muffins and they were great! So this is how I made them:

Ingredients:

100g butter
2 eggs
175g caster sugar
200g self-raising flour
25g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons milk (I used coconut milk)
2 ripe bananas, mashed
75g chocolate, chopped

First off, measure out the butter, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and milk and mix them altogether. Add the eggs and mix them in as well.
In a separate bowl mash up the bananas then add them to the cake mixture. You can them chop up the chocolate and add that in as well. Once you have stirred it altogether, you can now spoon the mixture into the muffin cases.
The muffins can now go in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 25 minutes.
When they are ready, you can place them onto a cooling rack.
Theses are best served with cream or custard, but that's up to you!

Happy Baking!! :)

Zoeva Rose Gold Luxury brush set

I realise that the hype is probably over with these brushes, but I only just bought them. The reason for this is because I just didn't really have the money to buy them and I didn't actually need them. I do own a few eye brushes from Zoeva and they are the best I own. They are great quality and they are a reasonable and affordable price. However, the downside is that they are from Germany, so there is an extra shipping cost of £7.50 to the UK, but you can find all the information on their website.

I thought it was about time I purchased this set, because the brushes I got from eBay have almost had their day. This set includes 8 brushes and literally you can do your whole face with this set and not need any more. Aside from their being great brands of brushes in Boots and Superdrug, it is hard to find a whole set of brushes that are of great quality and affordable.

The brushes included in this set are as follows (using picture 2 for reference of order):
  • 106 / Powder
  • 102 / Silk Finish
  • 127 / Luxe Sheer cheek
  • 110 / face shape
  • 142 / concealer buffer
  • 227 / Luxe Soft Definer
  • 231 / Luxe petit crease
  • 317 / wing liner
These brushes are so pretty and they definitely add something to my dressing table. They have a gorgeous chocolate, matte brown handle wit their name on and obviously they are rose gold...So what is not to love really?! They are made with natural and synthetic hairs, which means blending is made super easy! Plus they work with both cream and powder products. The kit comes with a very classy clutch, which matches the brushes and I think it adds a really cute touch to the whole set. The retail price for this set is £55, which makes each brush under £7 each. What a bargain!? I really recommend these brushes for anyone.

Have you tried any Zoeva brushes yet? :)

A Healthy Way to Start the Day

What a better way to start your day than with a smoothie! It's fresh and tasty and full of goodness. I realise that not everyone has time in the morning to blend fruits, but you do have time in the evening. You can put it in the fridge and by morning you will have a cool fresh drink to start your day!
You can literally put any fruits into a smoothie and this is one that I made today and it was great:

Ingredients:

2 bananas
2 strawberries
15 blueberries
Small glass of coconut milk
Half a glass of orange juice
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

This recipe serves 2 people and it was super tasty.
I am the worst at eating fruits, so this is a fab way to eat multiple fruits at once and at least try to feel healthy!
Have a fab Monday and enjoy the rest of your week! :)

Happy New Year

I am a little bit late with the 'Happy New Year', but better late than never! I completely lied in my last post as I said I had 'lots more Christmas posts to come' and I wrote nothing! I am not going to make excuses, I just didn't do it and my job just took over during the Christmas period. BUT I am back and I wanted to share with you, my New Years resolutions! Lets go...

Number 1...GET FIT! Now I realise that this is probably something everyone says every year, but I don't want my goal to be 'to lose weight', because I am pretty happy with my size, I just want to tone myself up and feel healthy. I am going to drink more water and smoothies and start slowly with ab exercises then, as I have 2 very healthy sisters who love keeping fit, I am going to follow in their footsteps and maybe go running...I said maybe, don't push it.

This leads me on to Number 2...BE HAPPY! Like seriously I spent the first half of 2014 and pretty much the whole of 2013 being negative and boring and OH MY GOSH, it sucks! I realise now that it was just a waste of time using all my energy being negative and I never went anywhere or did anything and I knew that it had to change! Don't get me wrong, I have those days where my soul is black and my heart is made of ice, but that's not often! I have changed so much since last year and I know that sounds so lame, but it's true. I want to keep my positive energy and actually do stuff this year and stop thinking 'what if', because quite frankly, I have nothing to lose! I frustrate myself, its annoying. Someone said to me 'do what you want, whenever you want to do it' and that is enough to keep me motivated!

Number 3... JUST SAY YES! I am such an over-thinker and it gets me nowhere. I just want to have fun this year, because I don't go out and I think going out with new people will be good for me. I am one of those people that waits for a miracle to happen and I just need to start making things happen myself. I spend most of my days sitting at home, moping around, when really I could be out there doing something interesting, but I don't and I HAVE NO EXCUSE!

Number 4...STAY ON TOP WITH MONEY! Last year I was a bit careless with my money. I was like, 'I have the money, I'm gonna spend on useless stuff that I don't need and will never use or wear', but like no, you can't do that. I have a notebook where I am going to write down how much I have and how much I am spending and it does help that my Dad is an accountant, so he can do the maths!

Number 5...READ MORE/WRITE MORE! I love the idea of sitting down and reading a book, but I just never do. Last year I went a tad book crazy and just bought book after book after book, but never read any of them. WHY?! That's not even logical, oh my, I have problems! So, this year I am going to try and read a book a month, but hopefully more and not buy any more books, until I need to. Along with reading, I plan to keep up with my blog and actually do regular posts. Last year was just a tester really and writing is a real passion of mine, so yeah!

Number 6...PAMPER EVENINGS! I am rubbish at looking after my skin. I have all these moisturisers for my body and I never use them. I am just hopeless! My sister bought me a facemask from Lush, for my birthday and I am using that and it is so therapeutic and I just want to look after myself a lot better...man that sounded lame.

A very personal one at Number 7...STOP BITING MY NAILS! This is the worst and most disgusting habit and I need to stop because eww! I don't even know why I do it, but nothing I do, or what anyone says, makes me stop. I mean, even my doctor told me stop and I really try, but clearly not hard enough, so that's definitely a big one for me.

Lastly at Number 8...BE SPONTANEOUS! Like I mentioned before, I don't do much. So this year, I am going to try and be more spontaneous and surprise not only everyone lese, but myself also! Should be fun!

So those are my goals for this year and I just really want to be happy this year and do stuff! Happy New Year and have a good one!
