I have heard so many people rave about Sigma and MAC make up brushes, but dudes they are super expensive...I have also heard so many people rave about Zoeva brushes and they are so much cheaper!! So I checked out their website and all eye brushes were £5.00 a piece which I think is awesome, considering the other brands sell them for £16ish?? Zoeva brushes are supposed to be amazing quality and I was super impressed when they came through the post yesterday, only because they were each in their own separate pouch with their name and number on it.
I have wanted some good eye brushes for quite some time as the ones I bought off eBay just weren't doing it for me. I was quite reluctant to buy brushes from Zoeva because they originate it Germany which means I had to pay shipping, but it wasn't too expensive considering...but shipping cost me £7.50. I am so excited to use these brushes, but I wanted to do a blog post on which ones I bought first and then soon I will do a review, so I haven't actually used them yet. So on with what I actually bought:
317 - Wing Liner Brush
This can be used for eyeliner, but I mainly bought this to fill in my eyebrows as I like to use an eyeshadow to do this. At the moment I have a very tiny angled brush, but it's not very precise and I have stepped away from using a pencil s this looked horrendous. I could use this with a gel eyeliner if I bought one, but I don't own one yet, so for now it's just my eyebrow brush!
227 - Soft Definer
I think I decided to purchase a lot of blending brushes because I don't really own one and I needed one.. This brush is sooooo soft and looks like it will be great for blending eyeshadows into the crease or for applying a colour all over the lid.
224 - Luxe Defined Crease
As the name of this brush suggests, this is part of the 'Luxe' collection that Zoeva has and this is supposed to be an amazing brush. Again this looks perfect for blending eyeshadows into the crease as it is a soft brush and is quite light and thinner than the rest.
This is going to be amazing for the outer corner of the eye and for really building up colour on the lid. This will also be great for the outer part of the crease as it will make the eye look more defined.
237 - Detail Shader
As this brush suggests, it will be awesome for detail, on the outer corner of the eye or on the inner corner, plus it was just really cute and small and I felt that I needed this in my brush collection.
I have saved the best till last and this is the brush that I hear most YouTubers and bloggers rave about. I am super excited to use this brush as it is so soft and will be an incredible blending brush.
I would definitely recommend to check these brushes out as they are just as good as Sigma and MAC brushes, but are so much more affordable. Speak soon!! :)
