Bourton-On-The-Water: Family Day Out
Yesterday (Tuesday), my parents decided to take a day out, so we visited Bourton on the Water. It wasn't actually raining throughout the day, which was awesome as we probably wouldn't have gone out if it was. English weather totally sucks right now! We have always visited Bourton on the Water ass it is just such a cute little village with vintage shops, teashops and restaurants and when it is hot and sunny, you can always paddle your feet in the river, which is what we always used to do. Also, we probably would have taken Barney, our dog, but he is completely useless around people and it was cold and had a chance of raining, so we left him with our Grandad.
When we got there, we were kinda hungry as it had gone 12 o'clock (it takes over an hour for us to get there), so we decided to find a restaurant to eat in. We wanted to try out a different one to usual and I cannot remember the name of it, but it was a cute place with awesome service. Anyway, all the places to eat are great so it doesn't really matter which one you choose. I chose to eat the bog-standard 'chish and fips' with a hot chocolate to drink. It was yummy!! (Plus, this is probably just me being pathetic, but I find restaurant knives to be super heavy??)
I don't know if it is just me, but I'm that weird human being who takes pictures of her food and drink, so here have a picture of my hot chocolate:
We decided that we would go to a different tea room at the end of the day to have cake and tea, so after the meal we went and did some shopping!! Yayaya!!
I spotted 'The Edinburgh Woollen Mill' from across the river, so I dragged my family in there and My favourite pattern is tartan, so this is the best place to go, considering it's Scottish!! I have been wanting a tartan umbrella for ages, because I either lost or broke my other one, so I picked one up and this was £6 and later on that day it rained, so it came in handy anyway!! Then I spotted an offer on a massive selection of scarves and it was 3 for £20 and seeing as they were £10 each anyway, this seemed great. There was my Mum, Natalie and me there, Dad obvs didn't want a scarf, so we each picked one we wanted, I opted for the original tartan, Mum went for a beige one and Natalie went for a red and green block one (she couldn't decide, so I decided for her). Then Dad spotted some alcoholic fudges (It's the Polish blood onside of us, I swear!!), so yeah we had a jolly time with all the oldies buying all this tartan stuff!! Fun times :D
We then went into the shop next door and Nat and me spotted some Yankee candles, so we started to smell them, casually and Dad ended up buying some as they were on offer and Mum saw a Paddington Bear thing?? so she bought that, no idea what it was, but still.
One of my favourite shops to go in is called 'The Cedars' as they always have something in there that I want to buy. I saw these tins on the stairway wall and they were the vintage kind, with a picture and a caption to go with it. I couldn't decide between them all, but I eventually narrowed it down to 2, so bought them both. The blue and orange one says: 'How can I control my life when I can't control my hair' and I thought that suited me well. The second one is a quote my Marilyn Monroe and is a picture of her and says: 'If you're gonna be two-faced, at least make one of them pretty'!! My mum bought a summer scarf as well. This shop was super crowded so it's best to just save yourself!! Joking, all the shops are tiny and crowded, so it's good to just be patient and wait, even if people are being rude.
There is this cool train/toy shop next door to this which was even more crowded and even smaller and I just walked in, pretending I was interested in trains and stuff, and walked out.
Next to this shop was a different shop which has clothes (for old people) and bags and accessories and I found a furry headband in black and then saw a whit one, so bought that and I think that was £5. It was cute and I know I was stocking up for winter here, but the weather isn't looking too promising, let's be real. I also spotted a dogs blanket for Barney. I don't know why, but I always feel the need to buy him a souvenir like he knows where we've been?? Anyone else, or just me...again?? Natalie literally ran (??) to a bag that she saw and it was a white satchel and it took her foreverrrrr to decide if she wanted it or not, but she bought that anyway! Here is a picture of Barney making excellent use of his new blanket:
We looked around more shops and then went into another doll/random shop and I spotted some dream catchers. I already own two which I got from a cruise we went on a while back, and I couldn't decide which ones to get so I got the two cutest ones and they were only £2.75 each!! Cute!!
Me and Nat decided it was time to get some cake, so we went to a tearoom and I opted for a slice of carrot cake and pot of tea, yummmyyyy!! This is when it started to rain and my newly purchased umbrella came in very useful. We then looked around the last few shops before making our way back to the car and heading home.
I was reading my book in the car and it's 'You're the One that I want' by Giovanna Fletcher and it is incredible. I would totally recommend this book,
I would also recommend that if you live in the U.K and live near Bourton-On-The-Water, that you go and visit the village because it is adorable and it can be great fun in the Summer, but is cute on any day. It was a lovely day out and I really enjoyed it, considering it was my one day off after the busy bank holiday weekend we had at work!! I t just sucks that Zoe wasn't there with us, but maybe next time.
Thanks for reading!! :D

Tangle Teezer: The Original
I have only just purchased my very first Tangle Teezer and I cannot believe it. I have super long hair, like it nearly touches my butt, so this is the perfect hair brush. I don't know how I have coped without one because my hair gets super tangled real easy. Although it was over £10???? so I am not surprised I hadn't got one yet. There was 3 for 2 offer in Boots across all hair care, so I thought I'd better get one as I had been anting one for ages.
I use this after I wash my hair and OH MY!!! It's amazing!! It doesn't pull at my hair like a normal brush would and I couldn't even feel it untangling the tangly mess that was my hair! Although I must say I do backcomb my hair and use a fair bit of hair spray... but ever since I stopped straightening my hair, it has gotten so much healthier.. and now I don't know what I am talking about?? :/
This brush is just awesome and I would completely recommend it!! It says on the box that it 'can be use on wet and dry hair without any pulling or yanking' and I completely agree with this. I will insert some pictures of the packaging as there is a lot of information and I will not write it out as it will take forever :D
I don't know what the product looked like before but it states that it has 'improved ergonomics for easy handling' and it literally fits into the palm of my hand, so is super easy to use and keep a grip on it.
I wasn't too keen on the colour choices as I am really picky. There was a pink/purple one and an orange/yellow one, so I chose the orange/yellow one as my favourite colour is green and it was the closest there was *insert sad/confused face*!!
I love this brush and I have needed this for ages and I would totally recommend it, but look out for offers as there is always some type of money saving thing which is always a bonus, Yay!! You can get these from pretty much any drugstore or shop, so go check it out if you haven't already!
(It has been a long week at work, so please excuse my blabbing) :D

Cleaning Make-Up Brushes
I will not lie to you, cleaning make up brushes is quite the chore because for one it takes ages and I always end up burning my hands with the hot water. It is super important to clean your brushes as there will be so much bacteria in them as you use them on your face every day. Most people wash them every two weeks and I wash mine every week as my skin is rather sensitive. I always find it takes longer to clean the brushes I use for foundation and concealer as the product really gets into the brush, so it needs a lot more attention. Eye brushes are so much easier to wash and they dry quicker as well.
You would be surprised as to how many people don't wash their brushes and it just isn't very hygienic.
I don't have many brushes, which is why I tend to clean them every week, whereas some people who have more brushes can use different ones on any day.
I don't mind cleaning my brushes as I'll just listen to music (whilst dancing around the bathroom, as you do) and once they are done, you don't have to worry about it for another week! Plus your brushes will be CLEAN!! Yayy!!
- Lay out all of your dirty brushes
- Run your brush under hot/lukewarm water
- Pump some soap onto the brush and swirl around in your hand (anything antibacterial will do, mine is just any soap that my Mum has bought)
- Start swirling your brush around in the palm of your hand, whilst occasionally adding more water (to make bubbles and foam!!), which will wash away all the bacteria
- Squeeze out the foam and excess product and repeat with adding soap and water until your brushes are all super clean
- Let your brushes and dry (I usually use a flannel to help quicken the drying up) and when you next use them, you will know you are being hygienic with lovely looking, clean brushes!!!
Hope you enjoyed this little insight to make up brush cleaning! :P Bye for now!

Zoeva Brushes
I have heard so many people rave about Sigma and MAC make up brushes, but dudes they are super expensive...I have also heard so many people rave about Zoeva brushes and they are so much cheaper!! So I checked out their website and all eye brushes were £5.00 a piece which I think is awesome, considering the other brands sell them for £16ish?? Zoeva brushes are supposed to be amazing quality and I was super impressed when they came through the post yesterday, only because they were each in their own separate pouch with their name and number on it.
I have wanted some good eye brushes for quite some time as the ones I bought off eBay just weren't doing it for me. I was quite reluctant to buy brushes from Zoeva because they originate it Germany which means I had to pay shipping, but it wasn't too expensive considering...but shipping cost me £7.50. I am so excited to use these brushes, but I wanted to do a blog post on which ones I bought first and then soon I will do a review, so I haven't actually used them yet. So on with what I actually bought:
317 - Wing Liner Brush
This can be used for eyeliner, but I mainly bought this to fill in my eyebrows as I like to use an eyeshadow to do this. At the moment I have a very tiny angled brush, but it's not very precise and I have stepped away from using a pencil s this looked horrendous. I could use this with a gel eyeliner if I bought one, but I don't own one yet, so for now it's just my eyebrow brush!
227 - Soft Definer
I think I decided to purchase a lot of blending brushes because I don't really own one and I needed one.. This brush is sooooo soft and looks like it will be great for blending eyeshadows into the crease or for applying a colour all over the lid.
224 - Luxe Defined Crease
As the name of this brush suggests, this is part of the 'Luxe' collection that Zoeva has and this is supposed to be an amazing brush. Again this looks perfect for blending eyeshadows into the crease as it is a soft brush and is quite light and thinner than the rest.
This is going to be amazing for the outer corner of the eye and for really building up colour on the lid. This will also be great for the outer part of the crease as it will make the eye look more defined.
237 - Detail Shader
As this brush suggests, it will be awesome for detail, on the outer corner of the eye or on the inner corner, plus it was just really cute and small and I felt that I needed this in my brush collection.
I have saved the best till last and this is the brush that I hear most YouTubers and bloggers rave about. I am super excited to use this brush as it is so soft and will be an incredible blending brush.
I would definitely recommend to check these brushes out as they are just as good as Sigma and MAC brushes, but are so much more affordable. Speak soon!! :)

I did some Online Shopping!!
I haven't blogged in like over 2 weeks and I have no excuse! Except for the fact that I lost inspiration for a while, but I am back!! Woohoo!!
I have been wanting to order from feelunique for ages now and I finally just went for it and bought some make up! However I wouldn't have done so if there wasn't some sort of offer! There were two offers when I placed my order. There was a 15% discount over the whole site and then there was a 3 for 2 on Tanya Burr's lips and nails collection! So I couldn't resist. Altogether it should have cost me £57.97, but I got £12.54 off, so it came to £45.43, plus the delivery was FREE (on all orders over £10, which is just awesome!) and they do ship internationally, so yay!
The first product I ordered was the naked 3 pallet from Urban Decay and I have wanted this for an absolute age now as it is £37.00, but I really really wanted it, plus my younger sisters year 11 prom is coming up and I wanted her to have a gorgeous make up look, so this was perfect. There are 12 shades in total and they are all equally gorgeous. There is a mix of matte and shimmery shades, so it is perfect for a daytime or night time look. I am super excited to try this out and I will do a review on it soon. It came with four samples of eyeshadow primers which claim to last for 24 hours, but I am willing to give anything a try. I have heard so many awesome things about these products, so I am excited to use them and create some awesome looks!

As I said before, there was a 3 for 2 across Tanya Burr's lips and nails collection. Considering I bite my nails (gross habit, eww), I chose 3 lip glosses! I chose 'Just Peachy', 'Picnic In The Park' and 'Afternoon Tea' and these are all pinky shades. Again I have heard so many good reviews about these! First off, the packaging is adorable and looks expensive and everyone said they smelt great so the first thing I did was smell them. Too weird?? But yeah, they smell fruity and fresh! The colour pay off is incredible, especially for a lip gloss and it reminds me of the Rimmel Apocalypse glosses. I am super impressed with them and I can't wait to use them as they will be great for the Summer months. I will probably end up buying the whole collection knowing me, but I would definitely recommend that you go check them out.
'Just Peachy', 'Afternoon Tea', 'Picnic In The Park'
Feel Unique are doing a different offer every single day this month and make sure you sign up for their emails as that will give you the best notice for any offers they have got going on.
Thank you for reading! Will blog again soon :) (I have ordered more products from Amazon and Zoeva, so blogs will be coming up for them as soon as they get delivered).
